Dear Romans,

Congratulations on making it through the first quarter! The editors of Discourses are excited to share our new issue with you. This issue focuses on the War On Terror. In light of the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and the American withdrawal from Afghanistan, we found it appropriate to cover the end of this complex and controversial chapter of American history.

Our writers have been working tirelessly on thought-provoking articles on topics such as Foreign Policy Changes, the Rise of Islamophobia, and Culture changes After 9/11. Thank you to everyone who contributed. 

We also would like to take a moment to welcome three new editors to our 2021-22 staff! Thank you so much to Daniel, Sneha, and Jadyn for joining our team.
