Letter from the Editors

Hola, Bonjour, Guten Tag, 你好, Shalom,

On behalf of your Editors-in-Chief, Daniel Braun and Callie Milner, welcome to the revamped Worldly Roman! We are beyond excited to bring you new articles on a wide range of topics in a number of different languages and about different cultures. Each article is written in a world language other than English, but if you do not know the language, feel free to read the English summary at the top! This exciting issue contains stories on topics such as vaccine distribution in France, New Year’s traditions in Latin America, and a not-for-profit serving healthy Mexican influenced food all around Chicago. Feel free to leave comments or questions below the articles (in any language!). We would also like to introduce our fabulous language editors:  Sabrina Hayes (French Editor), Amanda Valenzuela (Spanish Editor), Mia Lapiere (Chinese Editor), and Vanessa Block (German Editor). A great big thank you to the Worldly Roman advisor, Mme. Cousin. We would also like to thank all of the language teachers who helped edit our articles. We really appreciate all of the teachers’ time, guidance, and support.

If you have any questions or are interested in writing for our next issue, please contact us or any one of our editors.

Happy Reading,
Bonne Lecture,
Feliz Lectura,
Lectio beata,
快乐阅读,

Enjoy!

Daniel (dbraun@lsoc.org) and Callie (cmilner@lsoc.org)
