On behalf of your Editors-in-Chief, Daniel Braun and Callie Milner, welcome to this year’s second edition of the Worldly Roman! Our world has been anything but normal for the last year and a half, but as some of the articles in this issue highlight, things are changing fast and normal is getting closer. You can read from an amazing range of topics!  Feel free to leave comments or questions below the articles (in any language!).

We want to acknowledge our fabulous language editors: Sabrina Hayes (French Editor), Amanda Valenzuela (Spanish Editor), and Mia Lapiere (Chinese Editor). As well as our brilliant writers: Nathalie Espinoza (Chinese), Cece Buday (Spanish), and Maya Mahoney (Spanish). A great big thank you to the wonderful Worldly Roman advisor, Mme. Cousin. Also, thank you to Profe Resendiz, Profe Espejo, Profe Perez, Zhou lao shi, and Di lao shi for editing our articles.  We really appreciate all of the teachers’ time, guidance, and support this year as we relaunched the blog.
